Workshops & Education

After establishing pollinator gardens across communities and institutions, Buzzing Blooms expanded into environmental education through workshops- online and offline, plantation drives, awareness campaigns and hands-on ecological learning sessions conducted across schools and community spaces.

Millennium World School, Ludhiana

On World Bee Day, 20 May 2025 age-specific workshops were conducted for over 500 students from Nursery to Grade 10. Students learned about pollinators, biodiversity and sustainable gardening through interactive sessions.

At the end of the workshop, native seed packets and educational pamphlets titled “How to Turn Your Backyard into a Pollinator Paradise” were distributed to encourage children to begin pollinator gardens at home.

A Certificate of Appreciation was awarded by Mrs. Savneet Kaur, Director of Millennium World School.

Government Primary School, Model Gram, Ludhiana

Following awareness sessions, students received the Buzzing Blooms Guidebook, a practical resource designed to help children establish pollinator gardens within their homes and communities. Visuals heavy Buzzing Bloom guidebook has been specially designed for neurodivergent students.

Hands-on workshops were then conducted within school premises where students learned: Soil preparation, plantation techniques, pollinator-friendly plant selection, watering and maintenance practices and sustainable garden care
